Kellington knows that jobsite safety is just as important as efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Achieving a balance between these goals is top priority to us, and ensures a successful project for everyone.
Our outstanding safety record did not happen by chance; it is a reflection of our hard work and commitment to employees. Our Zero Injury policy, which is reinforced daily throughout the organization states that "All employees are obligated to conduct their work in a safe manner, to stop work immediately to correct any unsafe condition that is encountered, and to take corrective action so that work may proceed in a safe manner."
The purpose of the policy is to establish programs and procedures that will eliminate accidents and injuries on our projects and in our office, and a project-specific safety plan is developed and implemented for all new jobs. The goal of the program is to achieve safety excellence.
Protecting our workers, our customers, partners, and the general public is of utmost importance to Kellington Construction, Inc. When we say Zero Injuries, we mean it!
Kellington's Safe Practices Include:
- Our safety policies go above and beyond OSHA standards
- All Kellington Superintendents are OSHA 30-Hour trained
- Every Kellington field & operation employees is at least OSHA 10-Hour trained
- Every person who walks on every site must complete our orientation
- We seek out and prequalify subcontractors with exceptional safety ratings
- Our Experience Modification Rate of .65 is exceptional for the industry
- We have a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe practices
